This year, we'll celebrate our Love In Action Luncheon on March 6, 2025.
Our Love in Action luncheon is our signature annual event celebrating and supporting respite services for the homeless in the Charlotte area. With your support, Samaritan House will continue to meet and exceed the needs of our guests. Every day we see the smiles on faces, the anger at injustice, the need for compassionate care and the determination to make the world a better place.
Samaritan House is dedicated to continuing to provide a welcoming space to those experiencing homelessness and in need of medical care.

Samaritan House provides short and long term medical recuperative care for homeless men and women following a hospital or emergency room stay, about 100 guests per year. We offer our guests safe and secure temporary housing, food, medications, case management and transportation to medical appointments.
Samaritan House has a maximum capacity of 12 guests and is staffed 24 hours/7 days a week. In a typical calendar year, we care for approximately up 100 guests, depending on length of stay and the severity of our guests’ condition.
Samaritan House is the only local 501(c)(3) organization devoted to medical respite for men and women experiencing homelessness and this year we celebrate
