2020 "15th Anniversary Annual Luncheon"
Samaritan House held it's 2020 "15th Anniversary annual Luncheon" March 5th at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Charlotte. Luncheon speakers CMPD Deputy Police Chief Coerte Voorhees and Upstream Restaurant's Executive Chef Sam Diminich spoke about the ever-changing challenges of the homeless population in Charlotte. Samaritan House guest Michael Autovino spoke about his experiences and the understanding of the population that Samaritan House serves every day.
Volunteer Phyllis Acton was presented with the "Volunteer of the Year" award for her outstanding volunteer service for Samaritan House and our guests.
