ALL MEAL/FOOD INGREDIENTS MUST BE PROVIDED BY THE VOLUNTEER AND/OR VOLUNTEER GROUP. SAMARITAN HOUSE DOES NOT PROVIDE INGREDIENTS TO PREPARE ANY MEALS SIGNED UP FOR.
Currently we are utilizing a "no-contact" meal policy due to the Covid-19 issues.
All meals should be dropped off at the table located in the driveway next to the kitchen door and a staff member will bring them inside to serve.
All other policies as stated in the Samaritan House Volunteer Policy must be adhered to at all times.
We ask that volunteer groups that sign up to prepare and serve a meal be no larger than 12 people in the group. This is for the purpose of not overwhelming our guests during the meal.
When you visit our meal calendar if a particular meal doesn’t show on the calendar that means it is booked. Please select another date and meal slot.
Volunteers may use our kitchen and utensils (ie: pots, pans, dishes, etc.) to prepare a meal or may order the meal for delivery or to bring in.
Volunteers who prepare a meal using our kitchen are responsible for clean-up after the meal. This includes putting clean dishes, pots and/or pans, glasses, etc. back in their labeled cabinets when done. Volunteers may use our dishwasher and Samaritan House staff will put the contents back when done.
